Add New User Account from the Command Line in Windows
Adding new user accounts directly from the command line is quick, saves key strokes, and it’s super easy.
1. Open command prompt as an administrator (enter ‘cmd.exe’ in the search box, right click on ‘cmd.exe,’ and select ‘Run as administrator)
2. Enter ‘net user username password /add’ and hit Enter.
(Where ‘username’ is the new username and ‘password’ is the corresponding password for the new account).
And that’s it. A couple of quick steps, and you have a new user account without having to run whatever the new gauntlet is for adding accounts via the GUI.
